Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in the light of Quran & Ahadith.
Question: Please give me the evidence about Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in the light of Quran & Ahadith.
Ans.
Before writing the arguments of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him), I want to clear the meaning of Milad according to literature and Shariah.The word Milad has been derived from "viladut" which means birth. Therefore, according to Arabic language, Milad is word which signifies the place and time of birth. In the light of Shariah, we means, Milad is to remember the events which took place at the birth time of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and we get the opportunity of narrating the Seerat of the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) on this occasion, we also presents the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) gifts of Durood -o- salam. We mention before the people attributes and praises of the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him). We do not believe that Milad is specified with same night but, we believe that the remembrance of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is incumbent in each minute and second of time and every Muslim should act it sunnahs in the whole life time. Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) is a great source of preaching. It is incumbent for scholars to teach Muslims nations on this Holy occasion, moral behavior of the Holy Prophet, (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) his antiquates, His affairs, His Seerat, His dealings and His worships.Now I write the proofs of Milad from the Holy Quran, the hadith of the Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and consensus of Ulemas

Durood Taj / Salaat Al-Tajiyyah
Ya Allah! Send down Rahmat (Mercy) upon our Master and Chief, Muhammad,
the Crowned One (with the kingdom of both worlds), and the One with Mi'raj (Ascension),

and is engraved as such in the Loh and Qalam (Preserved Tablet and Pen).

Illuminated in the Sacred Houses, and Ka'aba.
He is a Shining Sun (Duha, Rising Sun), and full Moon dispelling Darkness,
a Refuge for all beings, and a Lamp (of Guidance) in the Darkness (of ignorance and paganism).
He is the Best in Adab (Conduct), Intercessor of Ummahs (Communities), blessed with Eminence, Generosity.
The ‘Ulama are at variance how long before the flight, in what month, and in what locality the ascension took place; but numerous traditions concerning the mysteries and wonders unfolded to his holy and prophetic lordship Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam during that journey have been recorded in many books. Some authentic historians allege that the Nabi Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam went twice to the upper world, and was on both occasions honored by conversing with the Lord of lords without the intervention of Jibril Alaihis-Salaam. Sheikh ‘Ali Abu Sinaa com-posed a treatise explaining the ascension, which contains philosophical maxims and unheard-of narratives, but as this abridgment cannot embrace all that has been written on the subject by learned and pious men, only an epitome of that miraculous event will be given; but He [i.e., Allahu Ta ‘ala] vouchsafes protection and grace.
Some traditionalists, who wrote biographies of the prince of the righteous Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam, have recorded that one night his lordship was about to fall asleep in the mansion of Umm Hani, the sister of ‘Ali ibn Abu Talib Karramallah wajhah when Jibril arrived with Mikaail, and said: “Arise, Muhammad; the omnipotent calls thee.”
Verses: In the morning he [Muhammad] propagated the Faith;
In the evening he ascended to heaven.
One night he left this perishable world,
When Jibril in the house of Umm Haani
From the heavenly tabernacle arrived,
Bringing Buraaq (who is swift as lightning) from the light;
His aspect was lovely, like that of a garden,
His whole form was handsome to behold.
Was there ever a cloud brighter than in the month of Nisaan,
Was there ever a breeze gentler than in the month of Nisaan?
He was adorned with jewels like the sea,
As no one sitting in a boat would suspect;
His back was strong, his action heavy, his step light,
Far-seeing in travel, and swift in motion.
