Treasures of Mysteries

Hadhrat Sheikh Sultan Bahu (رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ).

  TYPES OF QADIRI'S

Yes, Qadiri's are of three types:

  1. First is the one who is called an Arif engaged in Allah’s dhikr Laa ilaha ill Allahu Muhammadur Rasulullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم).
  2. Second is the one whose salaat blesses him with the union of Allah and is engaged in silent dhikr (Khafi) and always remains absorbed in Allah.
  3. Third is one who also has Ma’arfa of Allah with Mushaiba (beholding).  And with that is blessed with Haqq-ul-Yaqeen (the ultimate by which a beholder sees the very objective in which he used to believe without seeing).  He remains intoxicated and is always drowned in the Noor of the Holy Court of Sayyidina Rasul-e-Akram (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), remains in Hazoori (in the Holy Court) but apparently his affairs (worldly wise) are pitiable and unsettled, thus, he remains silent, tight lipped (no vain talking), and is  fanaa fillah.  He is a Talib according to the Holy Quran (know that the friends of Allah shall never have any fear nor grievance and sorrow).

HE WHO TURNS AWAY FROM REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH IS A WORLDLY PERSON

I pity and wonder at the people who instead of running towards Allah, run away from Him as if they had never heard or been exposed to Ma’arfa of Allah and yet there are some who despite of all that call themselves Arif - the one who had gained entry into the Holy Court.  But in fact they are without any Ma’arfa and miles away from the Holy Court of Sayyidina Rasul-e-Akram (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and on account of their Kashf (nasooti) and satanic Karama and Bid'at (innovation in faith) Shaitan makes them haughty.  Therefore in pursuit of worldly wealth day and night they corrupt themselves.

Translation:

Whatever keeps a person away from Allah that very thing is known as world (Dunya) and whatever takes one near Allah that is a paradise (Jannah).

Before you in a steep climb which cannot be scaled except Ma’arfa someone asked: “Ya Rasullulah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) who are Mukhatafoon.”  The Holy Messenger (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) replied, “do you have the rizq for today.”  He said, “Yes.”  He (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) asked for tomorrow.  He replied in the affirmative.  Then again, the Holy Messenger (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) asked, For the day after, the man said not for the day after.  The Holy Messenger (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) said, “if you had with you provisions for that day then you would not have been counted amongst the Ma’arfa.  But instead you would be counted amongst Mussaqaleen.”

In the Tariqa Qadiri Muhammadia, there is nothing but lovers of Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.  It has neither hollow sermons, degradation nor tall claims like Firaun.

THE TARIQA QADRIA CONTAINS TREASURES OF ALLAH’S MA’ARFA

There are treasures of Allah’s Ma’arfa in Qadri Tariqah.  A Qadiri Talib is never tired of doing excessive prayers and Mamoolat but on the contrary he remains happy under all the circumstances and does not care for his wealth whatever he has he spends in the way of Allah.  But the generous Talib; (i) the miser (ii) the wife (iii) his own children who are always spying upon him and create difficulties for him.  One should avoid such circumstances because these are due to jealousy.

Translation:

My dear, let me tell you one thing that Inshallah there is nothing worse than jealousy (in this world).

The virtues of Generosity is a Manifestation of an Attitude,

Showing Disregard for the World and that is

one of the Greatest Pillars of Sufiya.

By being generous a person is absolved of all the rights of Allah’s creatures and by this one always comes to know how much a Talib values his wealth before the Almighty.  That’s why Almighty Allah has said in the Holy Quran:

“You shall not reach the limits of virtues till you spend what you love the most.”

TYPES OF MURSHID

It is not an easy thing to be a Shaikh. Know, O’ Talib, that Murshids (Shuyukh) also are of three kinds.  The first is that Perfect Shaikh who is a mercy for a Talib and second is the imperfect one, who is a burden and obstacle for a Talib and this type is one who is the one who achieves worldly honors, wealth, titles and by virtue of such progress, such a Shaikh acquires station of Pharaoh.  A perfect Shaikh who attains Ma’arfa of Allah knows the virtues of lovers of Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and the Shaikh who neither acquires worldly stations nor Ma’arfa of Allah, he thus earns insult and humiliation of both the worlds.  Therefore it is very clear that it is not an easy thing to become a Shaikh, which one might think of gaining with little hard work.

Ways of Shaikh and of (true) Talib are secrets from the mysteries of Allah and this favor is due to Allah’s Mercy and Reward which is not bestowed upon the vulgar and Talibs of the world and it is Allah’s favor which He bestows upon whom He will, and, of course, true Talibs and Perfect Shaikhs are those who deserve it.

Those who are usually opposed to Tariqa Qadriya always belongs to one of three classes:  Shia, Khariji, Munafiq (hypocrite) and Zindiq (not following Shariah).  Some ignorant people boast of having Khilaafat from all the disciplines.  Such claims are all false because a follower of Qadiri Tariqa does not need to follow any other Tariqa, because where there is a Lion, all other animals run away.
