Adab wa Ikhlaq-i-Muhammadi

The blessed conduct of the Holy Rasul, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, is the path to perfection and represents at least 90% of one's Deen. Thus, the reader with common sense understands it being of great importance. There is an awesome magnitude of the importance of Adab and Ikhlaq; to such an extent, that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) unveils this perfection to the whole world in Holy Qur’an:

“Verily (O’ Messenger) your conduct is the best.”

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallahu ‘anhu) relates from the Holy Last Messenger, sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam:

“I have been sent as a Messenger in order to perfect the morals and conduct of mankind”

Thus, the importance of Adab and Ikhlaq-i-Muhammadi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) is established. A further elaboration is given by our Sheikh:

“An ordinary Muslim who does not identify himself with Ikhlaq-e-Muhammadi is defeating the very purpose for which this world was created, Messengers were sent, and the Holy Qu’ran was revealed. One thing should be remembered that Adab and Ikhlaq-i-Muhammadi are quite opposite to Hindu and western cultures. Hence a true Muslim is one who identifies himself with the Last Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam.”

“...Thus, all those who shall follow the path of perfection—Ikhlaq-i-Muhammadi—shall become a beloved of Allah and will be blessed with very quick results.” (Imam El-Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani El-Hashimi)

In this site, we shall present beneficial articles and discourses on the Adab and Ikhlaq every Muslim should follow.

Al-Adab wal-Ikhlaq

Quote from Tafsir of Ayat 12 of Surah Luqman:
“...we must thank Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) at every state. That is why I say that if we have and learn Adab, only then could we thank Him. Because by the manner of conducting, the way we conduct ourselves—eating, sleeping, walking, talking, traveling, praying, etc.—that shows whether we are thankful to Him or not. And that is only possible if we observe Adab.” (Imam El-Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani El-Hashimi)
